JJ Steelworks

My name is John. For my first full-time job, I worked in a Christian workplace. I came across a book advertising a machine to create all kinds of metal art, and at that I was interested in obtaining a machine to do just that. One day, while my brother-in-law and I were working together in the office, we concluded that we would start this business together. Since my name is John and his name is Jamie, we decided to call the business JJ Steel Works, as it featured two J names, and it only made sense. As time went on, Jamie felt that God had other plans for him, and we parted ways regarding the business. When people asked what the JJ stood for, I said it was "Just John," as I figured that made sense since I was not willing to change the name, considering Jamie had a huge impact on starting the business. Since the start of the business I have self thought to use CorelDraw and how to work with customers to make their imagination come into a reality.

Fast forward a bit: I felt a strong calling from God to start the business full-time, and wanting to follow the will of my Heavenly Father, I was willing to do just that. It was one of the hardest things I have done in my life, as it placed me in a very uncomfortable position. After 11 years at my full-time job, in 2022, I quit to see what God had in store for me. With Jesus on my path, He has brought me through many struggles and blessed me beyond imagination. Today, Jesus is my Boss, and He is now the first J in JJ Steel Works. He is the CEO of JJ Steel Works, and I, John, am the President.
